The Oromo Diaspora has responded to the needy Oromo families displaced in recent weeks in the eastern and Southern Oromia Region by raising over $250,000. HIRPHA International is managed and directed by Board of Directors. The Board of Directors (BOD) is composed of 9 to 11 volunteers that are elected from its members and are committed to advance the objectives of the organization. The founding members of the BOD were appointed at the OLC meeting held in Arlington, VA in March 2017.
The General Assembly, which is constituted by its members in good standing, is the highest governing body of HIRPHA International. In addition to setting broader direction, the General Assembly elect and makes members of Board of Directors accountable for the organization.
The day-to-day operation of the organization is managed by an Executive Director (CEO), who works closely with the Executive Board, is accountable to the BOD.
